Yes, you read that title right, there is an ACTUAL Maybelline New York store right here in Lagos, Nigeria. Maybelline arrived in Nigeria 3 years ago, I attended their media launch event at the time and blogged about it. If you click the link to the post, you will see I asked the Maybelline team if they had plans on opening a store and the response I got was “No” and they were more concerned with getting stands in various beauty stores around the country. The fact that they launched with only three products out of their ENTIRE range was also a huge bummer, and most of you guys expressed your disappointment in the comments section of that post. I hope those commenters are still BiL readers, because this news will be music to their ears! I guess their plans have now changed, only took them 3 years *side eye*, but I ain’t mad! Anyway enough rambling….
I went down to the Maybelline store yesterday to check it out and I was completely blown away! I shared videos with my snapchat family, so they know all about it! You should follow me on snapchat, they get all the ‘juicy’ stuff first (Username: BeautyInLagos).

I don't think so actually. Although I did not understand the affiliation, I felt it helped them reach more people because H.O.T. have got stores nationwide.

Prices are so unbelievable. I am actually doing the black market conversion with the actually prices in Walmart, america and the prices in lagos are cheaper. Wish I could move to Lagos. Thanks for the update Ez.
