Back with another post where I share with you my personal recommendations. If you missed out on my previous recommendations, I’ll link them all at the end of this post for you to catch-up.

I was having a conversation with someone and they were going on about how there are quite a few Nigerian makeup brands who are doing the damn thing, and it made me think, are there any Nigerian makeup brands that I actually rate… and the answer is YES! As with everything when it comes to beauty, you rarely find that one brand that does it all for you and that’s the exact same thing when it comes to the products I am about to recommend. One thing’s for sure though, I personally use these products and they are fantastic, have a look:

‘UPTOWN GIRL’ LASHES BY PEARL LUXURY LASHES

These are my go-to everyday strip lashes. Pearl Luxury retail a variety of styles, but the ones pictured above are my favourite for like everyday. They do have lashes for every occasion, so they are definitely work checking out.

INTENSITY EYESHADOW PALETTE BY NUBAN BEAUTY

Nuban Beauty make the prettiest eyeshadow palettes. I especially love how pigmented the shadows are. Ever since I got this palette back in May, I think I have reached for it whenever I do my makeup. It’s definitely worth getting, I’ll tell you that.

Price: N13,500

CREME BRÛLÉE LIP GLASS BY TAOS COSMETICS

This is my favourite lipgloss right now (isn’t it obvious, haven’t got that much left)! I did share swatches in a previous post, see here. It’s super-pigmented and wears for an extended period of time. From the tube I’m sure it’s pretty obvious, I love this stuff.

EYESHADOW PRIMER BY HOUSE OF TARA

Weird that I haven’t ever mentioned this once to you guys, but I LOVE this eyeshadow primer. It makes whatever eyeshadow I put on it pop, and my shadows do not crease.

BLACK LIQUID LINER BY ZARON

I call this my ‘liner topper’. I always use a gel liner and my trusty AMC Gel liner in 77 from Inglot is an old faithful.. still yet to discover a gel liner blacker than Inglot’s, but I digress. Anyway, so the order in which I do my makeup is I get my eyes done, before I move on to apply my foundation and all that. So whenever I go back to touch-up my eyes and once I’ve applied my lashes, I always go over my liner a second time and it’s this liquid liner by Zaron that does the trick. It’s got a glossy finish even after it dries so it just intensifies my liner, I love it!

LIP BUTTER BY R&R LUXURY

What’s more proof that you love a product than an ’empty’?? Do I really need to say more about this lip butter by R&R Luxury? This is the first thing I reach for as soon as I sit down at my vanity. I have nothing bad to say about it, it moisturizes your lips. I rarely wear it on its own, as I always apply some sort of lip product over it, but I really have zero complaints about this one!
