October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and every year I do my bit for the cause by rocking exclusively pink manicures all month long. If you are a regular BiL reader, this won’t be news to you.
I started BiL Pinktober (BiLBreastCancerAwareness) back in 2013, and what I do is offer you guys an opportunity to participate by collaborating with nail salons around Lagos, and then get them to run some sort of offer if you guys wanted to get a Pink Manicure too. This month will be no different.
Starting Monday, 9th of October, I will be sharing a different pink manicure every single Monday throughout the month of October, in collaboration with a Nail Salon and will run some sort of discount/offer so you guys can go get a pink manicure too.
It may all seems like fun, but this is a very serious campaign and one close to my heart. My nails are usually conversation-starters, so it’s a great way for me to raise awareness and advice people to go get tested or get involved in some sort of charity.
