Can you believe it’s already the end of November! The year 2017 is coming to an end, and the goal is to finish strong! Let’s give it one final P.U.S.H.

Anyways, there’s quite a few things I’ve been loving this month, some I may have already shared here on the blog/social media others I’ve had for a while but just never shared. So, here’s a few things I’ve been loving this Month…. and guess what? They can be purchased in the BiL Shop

HEEL-STOPPERS BY TANSEY SIMONE

I honestly don’t know why I hadn’t shared these little gems with you guys much earlier. I have been using heel stoppers since I attended a dear friend’s wedding back in 2014. She got married in South Africa, and right after the church ceremony while we all mingled and had cocktails on the estate grounds waiting for them to be done with pictures, the beautiful bride had ushers hand out heel stoppers to all the ladies and I thought they were the most genius things ever. I literally saved my pair for over 2 years after that wedding, until I misplaced one. Then I discovered I could get a pair from Tansey Simone, I was over the moon.

How I use them is: I pop them in my bag, when I am approaching my destination I slip them on and when I get indoors, take them off, straight in the little pouch and pop them right back in my bag. But that’s just me, I know people who keep them on the whole time (which is best, so you don’t misplace them like I did) or you could be like my Mum who’s got a pair of shoes that she keeps her heel-stoppers permanently attached to, she doesn’t take them off.

Please observe the sizes of the heels pictured, these heel stoppers are size Small; 0.9cm and stretch to 1.2cm. If you’ve got the skinny stiletto heels, these would probably be a little too big, these are for the standard heel size.

GLOW-UP BOX BY BATH KANDY

Finally some all-natural skincare products that actually pack a punch! I know a lot of people have started leaning more towards organic, natural skincare but I just wasn’t all the way there for it because the ingredients didn’t seem like they could do much for me. But let me tell you, Bath Kandy definitely did some research when it came down to the product ingredients in their latest venture, the Glow-Up Box.

The Glow-Up Box contains a Face Scrub, a Face Lotion that contains SPF and one super-souped-up  Beauty Elixir. The Beauty Elixir is packed with so much goodness, you’ll see in just a second.

Please can you just take a look at the ingredients in this Beauty Elixir! Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid & Glycolic Acid! Vitamin C is good for brightening, Hyaluronic Acid is for moisturising and Glycolic Acid gets rid of dead skin treating complexion issue (dullness, fine lines, scarring, etc.) Bruh! That’s one potent Elixir. The texture is more of a serum than an oil, which I like as it’s better to control. So far, my skin is LOVING this Elixir, but as with all things skincare, please do a patch-test before you use it all over your face.

This is a facial scrub made from Raw Cane Sugar, Raw Honey, Turmeric Butter, Palm Kernel Oil. The texture is creamy, and I love the fact that it’s got honey in it which has antibacterial benefits and also that the active ingredients are listed as the first 4 in the line-up. I’m sure everyone knows by now that the closer to the top an ingredient is listed, the more active it is in the product

This has got Oat Milk, Orange Butter, Argan Oil and Rosehip Oil. I LOVE Rosehip oil, it’s great for skin regeneration and improving the appearance of scars. In my nightime routine, my final step is an oil and these days, I alternate between the Beauty Elixir & Rosehip Oil. So the fact that this contains Rosehip Oil is definitely a plus, and it’s got SPF15.

It’s is a non-greasy, soothing and lightweight formula that is to be worn during the day, underneath your makeup.

‘ADDICTED TO CAVIAR’ BY VANE POLISH

Lord, this Nail polish! I am absolutely in LOVE with this shade of polish, almost wish I didn’t have to share a fresh manicure every week. It’s just the perfect colour for the season! And since I shared it in this Manicure Monday’s post here, I received comments on Instagram, Email & Snapchat asking where they could get their hands on a bottle. Well, at the time of that MM post, Vane had sold out of it, but I managed to get a couple bottles to sell in the BiL Shop, so grab one before it sells out.
