In January 2012, our Founder had a desire to share information about beauty in the bustling city of Lagos, Nigeria. Having just moved back to Lagos from the UK a year prior, she had created a mental catalogue of all the beauty spots she regularly visited. She’d also become the go-to person amongst her friends for beauty recommendations; where to buy products, get a facial, manicure or an IV infusion. She then decided to create a blog to document her finds, as a sort of resource she could share with anyone who enquired about where to get what beauty service/product in Lagos. Overtime, that little blog slowly grew to become the No.1 online destination for beauty in Nigeria.
Over the past 11years, the blog ‘BeautyInLagos’ has evolved into ‘BiL’; an ever-expanding Digital Beauty Resource & Consultancy.
BiL is the global voice for beauty and wellness on the African continent, amplifying the Nigerian beauty industry and helping brands grow.
