They also offer unscented products and fragrance-free options for those with sensitive skin.

2. Evita Joseph

Founded by Evita Joseph Asare, a Mechanical Engineer and a strong beauty advocate, Evita Joseph was birthed out of a desire to build the next generation of beautiful and confident women of color who will be ready to take on challenges and make a positive impact. This brand offers makeup products such as brow liners, makeup brushes, highlighters, eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip glosses as well as makeup tools and accessories.

3. Nokware

Nokware is a Ghanaian skincare brand that was born in 2017 out of a desire to share a generation old recipe with the world. Nokware’s goal is to promote the use of African herbs, plants, and oils, sourced from local women’s cooperatives through fair pricing and a zero exploitation policy.

The notable thing about Nokware products is their packaging; the use of calabashes, bamboo, and raffia is very impressive. The purpose behind this is to create zero waste by repurposing items that would have contributed to landfill. Their goal is to completely remove plastic from their packaging in the long run.

4. SO Aesthetic

The brand was born out of a frustration of not finding suitable shades for women of color in the Ghanaian market. This brand is an advocate of clean beauty as products are manufactured in Europe using ethically sourced materials with our health and environment in mind.
