Less than 24 hours ago Rihanna announced via her official twitter page that her beauty brands, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, are coming to Africa! Typically, when international beauty brands announce their plans to come into our market, it’s always usually via one country, South Africa. However this time around, the announcement was made and specified a list of different African countries, mostly in the South, East & West Africa.
Here’s everything we know so far:
WHEN
On the 10th of May, 2022, Rihanna announced on twitter, that from the 27th of May her beauty brands will be available 8 different African countries, via local retailers.
WHERE
In her tweet she listed the African countries where the brands will be dropping:
- Botswana
- Ghana
- Kenya
- Namibia
- Nigeria
- South Africa
- Zambia
- Zimbabwe
WHO
The brand will not be coming in to setup actual physical Fenty Beauty stores, but will be made available via local retailers in these countries.
