Word-Of-Mouth remains undefeated as the best form of marketing and if you’ve been an avid reader and part of our community for a long time, you should be familiar with our mantra: “Every single beauty service/product is available in Nigeria, you just have to know someone, that knows someone“.

We have been your (trusted) ‘someone’ the past 12years, and we ain’t letting up anytime soon! Which is why we are bringing you this little round-up of Nigerian beauty stores that retail 6 of your favourite cult beauty brands.

Now, before we get into this, we need to clarify that these are not the only retailers in Nigeria selling these brands. However, we are recommending these specific ones to you because we know they can be trusted, and some have even been publicly endorsed by the brands themselves. (If you’d like to browse even more trusted beauty retailers (and service providers) in Nigeria, we’ve curated all that for with our beauty directory, BeautyDirectoryNG).

The first 4 stores listed are official retailers (and some also, distributors) of these brands, while the remaining 2 have proven, by their track record, that they can be trusted.

At this point, it really should go without saying, any recommendations we make can be trusted. So lets get right into this list…

1. FENTY BEAUTY – ESSENZA

If you’re new here, this might be news to you but…… Fenty Beauty has BEEN available in Nigeria for 2years now. They launched back in May 2022 and we shared all about it in a series of posts which you can read here: FENTY BEAUTY AND FENTY SKIN ARE COMING TO NIGERIA. The brand did not setup actual physical Fenty Beauty stores, but rather made their products available via a local retailer here called Essenza. Essenza is quite literally the pioneer when it comes to providing Nigerians access to global luxury beauty brands. Right now they’ve got strategic partnerships with over sixty international luxury fragrance, cosmetics and skincare brands.

3. CERAVE – NECTAR BEAUTY HUB

CeraVe is such a popular skincare brand, because they prioritize the health of the skin barrier in all their product formulations. Their brand ethos is primarily about restoring the skin’s natural protective barrier while combating other skincare concerns, which is why their entire product line offers products that contain three essential ceramides enhanced with a revolutionary delivery system to help restore the skin’s natural protective barrier. 4. COSRX – BUYBETTER COSMETICS NIGERIA

Honestly the reason this brand rose to cult status was because of one particular product in their range.. their Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. Some time last year, a number of Nigerian retailers got caught-out selling counterfeit COSRX products. It caused quite a stir, especially on social media. It got so bad that the official COSRX instagram page had to put out a statement addressing the case of unauthorised sales of counterfeit products by certain retailers in the market, and apologizing. In that same statement they went on to formally announce Buybetter Cosmetics as the official distributor and partner of COSRX in Nigeria. So if you were skeptical of where to get authentic COSRX products, then look no further than Buybetter Cosmetics.

5. THE ORDINARY – TULIP BODYCARE

The Ordinary rose to cult status because of their stripped back, no frills approach to skincare. They were one the first skincare brands to lead their marketing with education and transparency. They simplified skincare products and ingredients to enable the average consumer understand the purpose of certain ingredients in their skincare products, thus allowing them to make better informed purchasing decisions. They quite simply, revolutionized skincare in a sense. Tulip Bodycare recently launched their new flagship store in Abuja, which we shared in a Beauty Spots feature back in January.

6. TOPICALS – ESSENTIALS HUB

A brand like Topicals really embodies what it means to be attain cult status in the beauty world. Their ‘Faded’ dark spot really had the beauty community in a choke-hold at some point, and they just continue to churn our products that everyone seems to want to get their hands on by any means necessary. Essentials Hub is a beauty retailer that’s been around for quite some time now and are known to source their products straight from the brands or authorised retailers
