We tend to ignore the skin on the rest of our body when it comes to skincare. It’s like we do the most on our face, and the bare-minimum on our bodies. So I’m here to help you fix that!

If you have no clue where to start with your own bodycare routine, I will be sharing mine to help you out. With my routine, I focus on getting rid of dead skin and moisturising. I like to think of my bodycare routine in 3 parts: Daily Routine, Weekly Light Exfoliation & Weekend Deep Exfoliation. And I’m about to break it all down, hope this inspires someone to start their own bodycare routine.

DAILY ROUTINE

Every single day I take a shower, twice a day. For my daily routine I keep it simple in the shower with a loofer and my current favourite bar of black soap. And once I’m out I moisturise

WEEKLY LIGHT EXFOLIATION

On Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays I do some light exfoliation at night-time, in the shower. I use a pair of exfoliating mitts and BlackSoap to lightly exfoliate my skin in the shower. Then I follow up with an exfoliating body lotion.


Order of use: Exfoliate using Mitts+Black Soap Paste->Rinse->Moisturise(Lotion)

PART 3

On the Weekend (Saturday or Sunday), I do a deeper exfoliation by incorporating an exfoliating body scrub, along with my mitts. I DO NOT use the scrub with mitts on, the actual order in which I use all the products is show below:


Order of use: Shower using Loofer->Rinse->Exfoliate with Salt Scrub->Rinse->Exfoliate with Mitts+Liquid Black Soap->Rinse->Moisturise(Lotion+Oil Mix)
