Last year we announced our plans to launch the inaugural BiL Beauty Awards, a spectacular event that promises to be the epitome of glamour and celebration for the beauty industry in Nigeria. Our goal, is to be the most sought-after, recognised and respected Beauty Awards in Africa

Shortly after the announcement of the Awards, we went on to reveal our Advisory Committee made up of visionaries whose expertise, passion, and dedication will elevate the BiL Beauty Awards to new heights.

And now, after a year of meetings, planning and structuring we have officially set the ball rolling and are delighted to reveal the 17 carefully curated categories that will honor excellence, innovation, and unwavering commitment to the beauty industry in Nigeria.

The BiL Beauty Awards aim to shine a spotlight on the individuals and businesses that have played pivotal roles in the growth, expansion, and structuring of the beauty landscape. As we eagerly anticipate the grand event, let’s unveil the prestigious categories that will be celebrated during the awards ceremony.

In alphabetical order, here are the 17 prestigious awards categories for the BiL Beauty Awards:

  1. AESTHETIC CLINIC OF THE YEAR: This category will recognize the top Aesthetic Clinic in Nigeria. The clinic will demonstrate excellence in providing aesthetic services such as Botox, Fillers, Non-surgical facelifts, and other aesthetic procedures
  2. BEAUTY BRAND OF THE YEAR (Makeup, Hair, Skin & Nails): A beauty brand that has excelled in providing high-quality and innovative beauty products, and has made a significant impact in the industry.
  3. BEAUTY LEGACY AWARD: A pioneer with 20+ years of experience in the beauty industry in Nigeria who set a foundation and paved the way for others, while making significant contributions to the development and growth of the industry over the years.
  4. BEAUTY RETAILER OF THE YEAR: The retailer that has demonstrated excellence in providing quality beauty products, customer service, and a unique shopping experience
  5. DAY SPA OF THE YEAR: This category will recognize the best Day Spa in Nigeria. The spa that offers a wide range of treatments such as facials, massages, and other beauty treatments, that are of high quality and have excellent customer feedback
  6. ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR: An individual who has demonstrated exceptional business acumen in the beauty industry. The individual who has shown innovation, creativity, and a commitment to driving growth in the industry.
  7. HAIR SALON OF THE YEAR: This category will recognize the best hair salon in Nigeria. The salon that has demonstrated excellence in providing high-quality hair care services
  8. INDUSTRY ALLY OF THE YEAR: This category will recognize an individual or organization that has made significant contributions to the beauty industry in Nigeria
  9. INFLUENCER/CONTENT CREATOR OF THE YEAR: An individual who has demonstrated exceptional talent in creating beauty-related content, has a large following, and has made a significant impact in the industry through their online platforms
  10. INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY BRAND OF THE YEAR: An international beauty brand that has made significant contributions to the beauty industry in Nigeria
  11. MAKEUP ARTIST OF THE YEAR: A professional makeup artist that has demonstrated exceptional talent in the application of makeup and has shown creativity and innovation in their work
  12. MALE GROOMER OF THE YEAR: A professional male groomer that has demonstrated exceptional talent in grooming and styling for men and has shown creativity and innovation in their work
  13. NAIL SALON OF THE YEAR: This category will recognize the best nail salon in Nigeria. The salon that has demonstrated excellence in providing high-quality nail services
  14. ONE TO WATCH: This category will recognize an up-and-coming individual/brand in the beauty industry who is showing exceptional promise and potential
  15. SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD: A leader in the beauty industry in Nigeria who has been integral in shaping the beauty industry over the past 15 +years. An individual or brand that has made a significant cultural impact by challenging beauty standards, promoting diversity and inclusivity, or championing social causes related to beauty and self-expression
  16. SUSTAINABILITY IN BEAUTY AWARD: This category honors brands demonstrating outstanding commitment to eco-friendly practices, cruelty-free standards, and social responsibility, recognizing their contributions in minimizing environmental impact and fostering a sustainable beauty industry.
  17. TRAINING CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE: This category will recognize the training center that has demonstrated exceptional standards in training and education in the beauty industry in Nigeria
